Restart of the Jagenberg textile brand in Germany

With the re-establishment of the Jagenberg Textile GmbH & Co. KG, Jagenberg AG, Krefeld, lays the foundation for restart the production of textile machines in Germany. In May 2014, production and sales of machinery for the wet textile finishing process of woven and knitted fabrics started in the K2 Tower + Industriepark in Krefeld.

Based on the acquisition of the KÜSTERS Group in 2005, Jagenberg Textile is backed up by nearly 65 years of technology and manufacturing know-how of the former Eduard Küsters Maschinenfabrik. Its founder and pioneer Eduard Küsters set a milestone for open width wet processing in 1956 by inventing the deflection-controlled Swimming Roll (S-Roll).

Under the umbrella of the Jagenberg Textile Division, Jagenberg AG develops, constructs, produces and sells not only padders but also a wide range of textile machinery, e.g. for the dyeing, bleaching and mercerising of textiles. Besides Jagenberg Textile GmbH & Co. KG, Kusters Calico Machinery Pvt. Ltd. (India) and Zima Corp. (USA) formed part of the Jagenberg Textile Division.
